Great place for breakfast and lunch. The food is so good!

9/7 I had lunch with friends. The vegetable plate was the choice of the day. They have many choices to choose from plus a daily casserole. The Lima beans were so good! This place is a favorite of ours for a meat and three or just veggies.

It is a gem of a restaurant.. meat & 2 vegetable.. get the cornbread.. the staff was super nice. Stop by for lunch.

Food tastes really good but not hot. Windows and ledges filthy. Outside fountain not on and full of horrible smelling green water. This is not how I remembered it several yrs ago. Waitresses friendly, attentive, prompt. Needs clean up and upgrades!

Well appointed Cafe in a house built in 1937 with a menu that changes daily.
Good food and scrumptious desserts
Service was stellar and servers for more than helpful and very friendly.

Great food, polite staff. I ordered the fried chicken breast and wing with mashed potatoes, field peas, and a roll. Everything was great. The chicken was crunchy, well seasoned, and moist on the inside. I normally don't eat field peas, but theirs were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The mashed potatoes were homemade and had delicious soft chunks of potatoes throughout. The roll was a fantastic sweet roll. It was a great first experience and I only had to wait about 10 minutes for my order! I'd suggest this place to anyone

We live in Ohio and have Grands in Spanish Fort. We visit on average of every 9 months and every time we come, we love to eat at the Sugar Kettle. My fave there is their wonderful tomato gravy...Wow!!

It was good, but not great. They were real good about giving free samples before we ordered. Sweet tea was spot on right. The food just did not have the "WOW" factor that I was looking for; it was rather bland. Servers were attentive and friendly. I plan to go back during breakfast hours and see if the food improves.

The BEST Belgian Waffles ever! Not to mention the bacon, sausage, and Fresh Blueberries! We'll be going back for sure! We felt right at home! It was Delicious! And the Service was Phenomenal! Loved it! And My daughter the Picky Eater ate ALL of her meal !!! Awesome!

We had lunch at this place about a year ago, It was disappointing. We decided to try the breakfast hoping it would be a better experience, It was Not.
We both ordered the Sausage and Egg Breakfast Casserole. It is described on the menu as being Loaded with eggs And Sausage. There was plenty of egg, but almost no sausage, only a small trace of ground up pieces. It was served at room temperature with cold spots throughout, after waiting almost 30 minutes to get our food, We Won't Be Back!
