Baba Java Coffee - Hoover

Baba Java Coffee shop is a wonderful new coffee shop. They call it a "Roaster and Cafe." They source and roast their own coffee beans. In addition to excellent coffee there is a variety of baked goods and other foods available. I must say it is an excellent cup of java and the apple strudel was very good as well. This was my first visit and I love the place. The store is a clean well lighted place. The service is friendly and ready to serve you with a smile I highly recommend Baba Java!

I just have to say; this is the best café latè to be had anywhere in Birmingham. Excellent!

Got a latte with a shot of vanilla. I’ve been in Birmingham for about 6 months and go to various cafes in search for good espresso. Thought I had found the best place and then I just happened to stop by here before my nail appointment next door. Baba has taken the #1 spot. Absolutely DELICIOUS!

Awesome Quality and Service!! Baba Java is an amazing community supporter. Manager Lee went above and beyond to help spoil Oak Mountain Elementary Staff with delicious beverages during our Teacher Appreciation Week. I had never had baba java, but after my honey cinnamon latte, I’ll be stopping in frequently! Thanks to them for making everything so easy, affordable, and fun!!

Great atmosphere! Whether you're needing to get some work done, meet with a friend, or just come in and have a cup of coffee, this is the place to go. Not only is the menu diverse and delicious but the team is so helpful and hospitable - our barista Abby took some time to answer questions about the menu to make sure we ended up with exactly what we wanted. Great spot!

This place knocked it out of the park!!!! Habanaro honey latte?! Orange infused milk latte??? Yes please! This place is pushing the limits of flavor and I am loving it. Such an amazing coffee adventure

Went twice in the past two days — had an Americano, which was good — standard plus. Had a hot tea, which very good. The drip coffee was the winner for me though. It was definitely better than the average drip — you could taste some fruity notes. Not just your average drip.

I also had a ham and cheese puff pastry. That was great! A good bite to start the morning will.

I’ve ridden by Baba Java so many times and kept thinking I needed to go there next time I wanted a specialty coffee. I finally went and wish I had gone sooner! It’s a great place to get a regular coffee, tea or specialty coffee and juices and other choices too. They have a pastry/bakery menu as well with muffins, scones (plain and different flavors like hame & cheese-yummy) and other treats. I like that they have a chart which explains the difference between espresso, macchiato, cappuccino, etc - very helpful although staff very knowledgeable and ready to describe. Staff was very friendly and sincere. The decor is trendy yet cozy, although we sat outside; they do have tables outside. I’ll be back - I really like Baba Java!

Just the FRIENDLIEST service, so helpful and informative! A fantastic selection of fresh baked goods and accompaniments- the lemon bar and baked donuts were yummy. I was excited to try their Turkish coffee, served traditionally with a date. I was delighted! The flavors of the coffees and teas that they are skillfully roasting are enhanced by their drink crafters who know the proper times to steap tea leaves and how to make the most flavorful coffees!! I am so thrilled to find this gem!! Please go experience Baba Java's lovely flavors for yourself!!!

Great little coffee shop! We got the Orange Apeel Latte and the Camel Latte. Delicious!! Don’t be afraid to try something new here… it’s all good!

Really good coffee! I recently went for the first time and tried a drink off their Summer menu: The Lando. It tasted great. Friendly staff too! It was a little crowded so I’m glad I took my coffee to go, but that definitely speaks to the popularity of this cafe. Would definitely return if in the area and in the mood for some good coffee.
