Mo'Bay Beignet Co. Auburn

The beignets taste amazing and the buttercream sauce was good too, but none of the workers in the kitchen had on masks. And this wasn't a situation where the kitchen was closed off from the diners - it's marked off by walls with large openings so you can see into the kitchen. There are no screens/windows covering these openings, so spittle, air, etc. can spread. The employees at the cash register had on masks but no one else did, and there were at least 6-7 people working in the tiny kitchen, not spaced 6 feet apart. Some of the seating in the restaurant is away from the kitchen, but my friend and I had to sit along a bar that runs right next to the opening into the kitchen. At multiple points some of the employees walked/stood nearby without their masks on. Overall I was disgusted by this for an establishment that claims to be divinely inspired/owned by Godly people. How can you not realize that by not requiring your employees to wear masks you are potentially spreading a virus that has killed thousands of people? It is simply irresponsible and reckless to manage a restaurant like this during these times. I will not give my money to Mo'Bay again unless they seriously change their COVID safety protocols. It sucks that such delicious food has to be served by a place that doesn't take COVID seriously.

Great experience. It was very busy but the wait was actually very reasonable for a made from scratch kitchen! Very friendly staff and cool atmosphere. The whole family enjoyed the experience. We will definitely be back regularly!

Absolutely the best beignet you will ever have! And yes I've been to New Orleans many many times. This is just simply better.

Quite a wait for food, quite a wait for decaffeinated coffee. Food was good, coffee was OK. Don't really understand why service was so slow, the order had been placed online.

Visiting from Utah. Stopped here. I'd fly out here again, just for the beignets. Best meal of my trip 😍 fresh and absolutely delicious. I'll be back a few more times before I leave town.

Delicious!! Be aware they take a couple minutes to make because they're going to be FRESH. The buttercream is amazing!

Took 45 min for 3 of them when there was only 4 groups of people in there. Girls making them were eating them as they were “cooking” yet had so many backed up orders. Not friendly people.

Amazing beignets!!!! Definitely worth going in a group getting a bunch of beignets and different sauces and just sharing with everyone else!
